Another year has passed and we are celebrating our first Christmas in our new home, and looking forward to celebrating many more here.

  Welcome Carol Ann! So pleased to see you here. Hoping the coming year will be more productive than 2017. Planning a new spring garden, and fingers crossed that our chickens will increase the flock without our help….. Also looking forward to our Great Pyranees dogs mating and producing pups in the spring.

Come in and visit a while.

We have left the hustle and bustle and moved to an abandoned farm in a quiet, rural town in southern Virginia. Our little off-grid homestead is starting from scratch, so come by once in a while to visit and see how it develops. Along the way we will be learning to raise our food in this area of clay soil, raise our own food, and build our farm buildings as needed. The 105 year old farmhouse needs to be restored, fruit trees planted, and so much more. So grab a cup of tea, or coffee, and visit a while. My name is Kathleen. What's yours?
